English Training Programs

There are 3 basic levels of English learning that are prevalent throughout India and these are generally offered by different kinds of Institutions.

	Training Centers	Colleges	Universities
	These institutions are the most prevalent in India and provide students the basic English education, which includes soft skills such as speaking and listening as well as core fundamental like spelling and grammar. However, the basic purpose of these institutions is to hone a person’s English skills to be able to comprehend and communicate effectively in English. However, aside from a certification from the institute, no Diploma or Degree is offered.	Essentially, the programs at the college level are Diploma and Degree programs in English, with further sub-divisions like literature or linguistics. This is a higher level of English learning and requires the student to have a firm grasp of the English language. A degree from an accredited college is recognized across the world.	These centers of higher learning are the fewest and offer the most specialised English training at the highest levels. Most students studying English at the University level are seeking post graduate degrees in English, already having a command of the language equivalent if not better than most native speakers. A degree from a university is globally recognized.
